Is a good thing to use the services of any company .... is more good when you know you are paid on the services you are using and even on the service others are using... Hoops !!! I send by mistakes.... but you need to know that many cities like here where i live ... Grand Rapids Michigan the city is all WIFI so I can be in my care or any where in this City receiving and making call any where in the world while walking on the street. Already our company has made a deal with apple company ... if you have iPhone device you download Globalinx feature in your phone since the phone has internet you can be able to make unlimited calls any where not using your phone minutes but using your globalinx service feature on your iPhone. That will be the same with iPad.
I am not trying to convince anyone !!! but let every body know that there is other choices out there !!! What I know is that we have better service than Skype and vonage and verizon... we are number 53 among the best Voip provider in the world !!! and number 11 in the United States. For me this is a business striving to lavarage 10,000 stocks options in this company.

If i understand your question clearly if GLOBALINX devices uses internet as any other ? YES. The device must be plugged into an interent connection or be near a wireless connection such as a router at home or office or at a hotspot ? The answer is YES !!
- On the videophone is smaller and lighter than most laptops, you don't need to log in for you to make a call... you can call any number , you port you existing number to videophone or the Digital phone adapter, and more importantly the quality of video is digital compared to free Skype services most of regular people uses. This is a friendly user device for all ages. you don't need to know how to use computer to use Globalinx services than skype . Better pictures ( digital), voice and faster at a lower rate than skype.
