About The Book

Honor Thy God is an autobiographical account of Ali Mahjoub, born as a Muslim in North Africa, who tells the story of how God worked miracles throughout his life, leading him through a chain of prophetic dreams and visions to meet the Unification Church in America, in a mysterious synchronization of time, place and events. The author looks at the three great monotheistic Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and sees that their God is one and the same God. God is bigger and mightier and beyond any religions on earth! He cannot be limited nor confined in holy text books.
!
In Honor Thy God, the auther shares many of his prophetic dreams and mysterious coincidences as well as many new thought-provoking concepts, good common sense, humor, and spiritual experiences all blend to challenge the reader to look into his/her own spiritual life and dreams.

Humor in the Midst of Suffering

Humor in the Midst of SufferingThis story is very humorous!  It made me think that God must have a sense of humor!  One day, I was fundraising in an apartment complex out in a small town in the country.  I had a tough time making a sale.  It was so hot and humid.  I was so hot and sweaty, and getting weak and tired.  I was selling metal-etched laser prints.  I carried a backpack filled with pictures and carried in my hand about ten different scenes as samples to show to customers.  I had a hard…See More

My love for Father Moon

Posted on June 13, 2013 at 7:03am 0 Comments

In my early years in the church, back in the 80s, when people meet me, they would asked and say "you look like a nice person, why did you joined the controversial Unification Church and love Rev. Moon so much, what is he giving you?" ..People have no idea what caused UC members to scrifice their life and their careers to love and support  Rev. Moon and his church. Perhaps, the following dream titled "A photo stored in Heave", published in my book, Honor Thy God, could express my love for…

Dear Ali,

It sounds like you have traveled a very interesting path to TP.

The poem 'The Jihad Within' comes first from my heart where there is common ground between Islam & Christianity. The catchy title attracts one to read it. The reader learns the true meaning of 'jihad' through a Christian context of spiritual struggle. Thus everyone is more wise after reading it.

I've written two poetry books so far. One is 'Toward A Nation Not Yet Born' - that nation being CIG as seen through the eyes of a character 'Hafiz'. Are you familiar with the 13th century Persian poet Hafiz? Well I have some sort of spiritual connection with him and use his character as a vehicle for spiritual teaching.

My 2nd book is 'Sleepless in Jerusalem' and comes out of my 4 MEPI trips to Israel/Palestine.

Maybe we should trade books.

best wishes, Lloyd Howell

Hi Ali! I think we were together in Region 6 in the 80's. I was what some of the Korean leaders called a "shitty leader" in Iowa for a couple of years, with various other postings throughout the region. Our family is in Columbus, Ohio, now. I've seen you at some regional events around here, too. I am guessing that you joined in Oakland, but before I got there in 1979.
Congratulations on the publication of your book. I want to read it, and maybe share it with my neighbors from Algeria.
God bless you and your family!
